Outgoing correspondence of Charles F. Randall, examiner for Division XXI, Textiles, of the U.S. Patent Office, to applicants for patents. Also includes a letter, Nov. 9, 1891, to Florence (Mrs. C.F.) Randall, Boston; the letter, signed Lizzie, is on the letterhead of the law offices of MacLeod, Calver and Randall, Boston and Washington, D.C., and discusses personal and family matters. Also contains a printed card of Wm. A. MacLeod, attorney in Boston, with a handwritten message on the verso that Geo. H. Ray, Jr. had called and will call again sometime in future.
